Charles A. Cassaro

    PLAINSBORO — Charles A. Cassaro died Thursday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 64.
   Born and raised in Manhattan, he resided in Plainsboro for the last 24 years.
   He was vice president of E.F. Hutton for 20 years and later worked for Solomon Brothers for 10 years.
   He was a Navy veteran.
   A member of Queenship of Mary Church of Plainsboro, he served as an usher and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
   Son of the late Calogero and Mary Guarneri Cassaro, brother of the late Angelo P., he is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Ianiro Cassaro of Plainsboro; daughters and son-in-law Jennifer Renner of Plainsboro and Christine and Gregory Tantum of Woodstown; brother and sisters-in-law, Salvatore and Diana Cassaro of Kennesaw, Ga. and Mary Cassaro of Piscataway; sister Isabelle Cassaro of Carlisle, Pa.; father-in-law David Ianiro of Monroe Township; grandchildren Brian C. Renner, Zoe N. Tantum and Kacie N. Tantum; special aunt “Sis” Marino of Monroe Township; and many nieces and nephews.
   The funeral will be held 8 a.m. Tuesday at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. at Queenship of Mary Church, 19 Dey Road, Plainsboro.
   Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
