Princeton HealthCare System Names New Vice President of Operations and New Chief Information Officer

University Medical Center at Princeton is pleased to announce that Michael Antoniades has been named Vice President of Operations and Nick Thimis has been named Chief Information Officer.
Mr. Antoniades is a member of Princeton HealthCare System’s administrative team. He is responsible for planning, directing and implementing programs and services for the following areas: Clinical Engineering, Environmental Services, Engineering/Maintenance, Laboratory, Materials Management, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Radiology, Real Estate and Security.
Mr. Antoniades has 15 years of healthcare experience. Before joining Princeton HealthCare System he served as Vice President of Operations at St. Vincent’s Midtown Hospital in New York. He was charged with the administrative oversight and operational responsibility for the Cardiovascular Center, multi-specialty Physicians’ Practice, Family Health Clinic, Pharmacy, Clinical Engineering, Environmental Services, Plant Operations, Maintenance, Construction, Food and Nutrition, Linen Services and Security. Mr. Antoniades was responsible for an annual operating budget and capital of $25 million.
He received a bachelor of science in health administration from University of Phoenix and is completing a master of public administration degree at Rutgers University – Newark. Mr. Antoniades lives in Monroe with his wife and two sons.
Mr. Thimis has over 20 years of information technology (IT) experience. As a member of Princeton HealthCare System’s Administrative team, he will direct all IT services and functions for PHCS. Most recently, Mr. Thimis was Chief Information Officer at Agnesian Healthcare in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He was responsible for planning, organizing, developing and managing information systems at Agnesian Healthcare and its affiliated hospitals and clinics. As a member of the administrative team, Mr. Thimis worked with fellow managers to define goals, objectives and priorities for information technology and to align information services with projected business plans for Agnesian Healthcare.
He received a bachelor of science in computer science at Hammersfield University in Atlanta, Georgia, and served in the United States Army for four years. Mr. Thimis is relocating to the Princeton area with his wife and two children.
