JFK Medical Center will host a play for the community titled “In the Shadow of My Son.” The play, written, adapted and directed by Nadine Bernard, is in commemoration of new mothers who face postpartum depression.
The event will take placeMay 19 at JFKMedical Center’s Conference Center (across the street from the main hospital), 70 James St., Edison.
Registration and refreshments are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The play will commence at 6 p.m. and a question-and-answer session with the author/director will be held 7:30- 8 p.m.
