Ticketswill go on sale June 2 for Edison Township’s summer trips. Participantsmay sign up at any of Edison’s 22 playgrounds, the Stelton Community Center, 328 PlainfieldAvenue or theMinnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 GroveAve. daily from8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All trips are subject to change. Tickets are limited; first come, first served.All applications are due with the trip/transportation fee.
This year’s trips are:
• Freedom Fest Fair at Horse Park of N.J., July 9, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cost is $20.
• Six FlagsHurricaneHarbor, July 16, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Cost is $30 for children over 2 and all adults; $10 for children under 2 and season ticket holders.
• Six Flags GreatAdventure, July 23, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Cost is $39 for children over 2 and all adults; $10 for children under 2 and season ticket holders.
• Liberty Science Center, July 30, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.Cost is $30 for ages 13 – 62; $26 for children under 13 and seniors 62 and over.Admission includes all exhibits and Imax .
•Dorney Park,Aug. 7, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. Cost is $45 and includes a one-hour unlimited buffet (burgers, hot dogs, chicken and salads).
• Staten Island Yankees,Aug. 11, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cost is $25 and includes an unlimited buffet (hot dogs, burgers & salads).
•Wildwood, Aug. 20, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Cost is $15 and is for transportation only.Water park and ride tickets available.
• Monmouth Park Racetrack (adults only), Aug. 22, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Contact Edison Recreation for pricing.
