Youth Police Academy scheduled in township

Bordentown Township Mayor Bruce Hill and the Township Committee announced this week they will partner with the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department to a Youth Police Academy on three consecutive Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 11, 18 and 25 at the Senior Community Center in the township.
    These classes are open to all children from the ages of 7 years old to 12 years old.

    Some of the topics that are being introduced in the program are K-9 Demonstration, D.A.R.E, Escape School, Cultural Diversity, Fire Safety and more.
