Mrs. Farrington, 97, of Little Silver, died Sept. 27, 2008. She was a retired teacher in the Red Bank, Shrewsbury and Little Silver school districts, where she was employed 30 years. During retirement, she was receptionist at United Methodist Church of Red Bank for 16 years, retiring in 1996. She was predeceased by her first husband, James F. Wallace, in 1969; her husband, Warren Farrington, in 2001; and two sisters, Ilda Dodson and Madge Hill. She is survived by a sister, Gladys Aldrich of McCook, Neb.; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Cynthia Wallace of Eatontown; two stepsons, Warren Farrington Jr. of Greenville Junction, Maine, and Doug Farrington of Hilton Head, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Joyce Hall of Bennington, Vt.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church, Red Bank. Arrangements are by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
