Mr. Gotti, 78, of New Bern, N.C., and formerly of Middletown, died Sept. 29, 2008, in Rumson. He was a pharmaceutical sales representative at Smith Kline and French Laboratories for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert. Mr. Gotti is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine Finn Gotti; a brother, James of South Amboy; his children, Cathryn and Bill Bergin of Rumson, Peggy Gotti and husband Tom Hofford of Lanoka Harbor, Joan Gotti and husband Kevin McGettigan of Rumson; Richard Gotti and wife Susan Buskirk of Kingsville, Md., Jack Gotti of Sea Bright, Anne Marie Gotti and husband Jack Roberts of Cedar Grove, James and Kim Gotti of Oak Park, Ill., and Elizabeth Gotti of Hackensack; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held Oct. 2, 4-9 p.m,. at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
