TINTON FALLS — The Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross will honor two locals with the Clara Barton Humanitarian Award.

Little Silver resident Farley Boyle, founder and executive director of CHASE for Life, and Rick Kiernan, assistant executive director of the Seabrook retirement community in Tinton Falls, will be recognized at the 26th annual Red Cross Red Tie Gala to be held at the PNC Bank Arts Center’s Robert B. Meyner Reception Center on Saturday, March 7.

Boyle is the community honoree and Kiernan is the corporate honoree Clara Barton Humanitarian Award.

Master of Ceremonies Michael Straka, of FOX News, will lead the evening, including a live auction with a chance to win a day on a TV set, and a 50/50 raffle, which could result in a windfall of up to $10,000 for the winner.

The event will also include a silent and chance auction with items such as trips, exclusive golf packages and prestigious restaurants.

Tickets are still available, and donations of auction items are welcome.
