Mrs. Forfar, 56, a resident of Howell since 1983, died Feb. 7, 2009, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, after a brief and unexpected bout with cancer. She worked as an accountant for the Tri-Town News for more than five years. Mrs. Forfar attended Delaware Technical and Community College and graduated from Coastal Carolina Community College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in accounting. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Forfar was predeceased by her father, Lt. Cmdr. William A. Faucett. Surviving are her husband, Richard “Rick” Forfar of Howell; two sons, Richard Michael Forfar Jr. of Howell and William Robert Forfar of Atlantic City; a grandson, Gavin Michael Forfar; her mother, Phyllis Kathryn Faucett of Newark, Del.; a sister, Michele K. Faucett of Newark, Del.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, R. Scott and Katie Faucett of Chicago, and William W. and Donna Faucett of Eatonton, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Newark United Methodist Church, followed by interment in Head of Christiana Cemetery, both in Newark, Del. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G.
