Mrs. Hopper, 66, of Fair Haven, died Feb. 20, 2009, at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She resided in the Navesink section of Middletown, prior to relocating to Fair Haven 29 years ago. She was a bookkeeper at Builders General, Little Silver, for 28 years, retiring in 2006. She was predeceased by her father, Myron Van Brunt; a sister, Beverly Rogers; and a son-in-law, Michael Leonard. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy Leonard of Navesink, and Carrie and Ron Prince of Middletown; her mother, Helen Van Brunt of Fair Haven; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Don Litzelman Dushore, Pa.; and two grandchildren. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
