Leon Knize RED BANK — The Monmouth Conservatory of Music (MCM) will host a memorial concert in honor of a local musician and supporter of the arts.T
he Leon Knize Memorial Tribute Concert will take place on Saturday, March 7, at 4 p.m. in memory of the wellknown musician and businessman, who died on Jan. 30 at the age of 87.
Knize, an accomplished clarinetist, was a longtime friend and supporter of the conservatory and founder of the Red Bank Chamber Music Society.
To honor Knize and his lifelong passion for music, members of the conservatory music faculty will perform a program that will include works of Shostakovich, Schumann and Mozart.
The concert will be held at the Monmouth Conservatory, 50 White St., Red Bank, in the back of Trinity
Church.
