The Monmouth County Park System is seeking volunteers to help in the gardens at several park locations, including Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown, Thompson Park in the Lincroft section of Middletown, Dorbrook Recreation Center in Colts Neck, and Huber Woods in Middletown.
New volunteers are invited to attend a tree and shrub pruning workshop prior to participating. The next training workshop will be held in two sessions, 9 a.m.-noon April 7 and 14 at Dorbrook Recreation Area.
