Danish Archives North East (DANE) will host a program highlighting the life and times of the world-renowned Danish pianist, humorist and entertainment personality Victor Borge from 2 to 5 p.m. May 17, at the Danish Home, 855 New Durham Road, Edison.
The program will feature a talk by his daughter, Janet Borge Crowle. She will detail her personal insights of growing up in a home where the piano had a place of honor and was the center of evening activities.
It will include a slide presentation and will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
Crowle’s husband, Jim, will show a tape of her father where he plays an entire classical piano selection without the usual interruptions.
The event is open to the public.
