Mrs. Walsh, 92, of Tinton Falls, died May 5, 2009, at Kensington Court, Tinton Falls. She resided in Middletown, Red Bank and Rumson, prior to relocating to Tinton Falls. She and her husband built and co-owned The Crystal Brook Inn, Eatontown, from 1950-58, and The River House Inn, Rumson, from 1958-69. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin A. Walsh. She is survived by a son and daughter-inn-law, Michael and Janet Walsh of Rumson; two daughters and one son-in-law, Shelia Cole of Sarasota, Fla., and Janet and Harry Clayton III of Anderson, S.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Stella Benedetti Vero Beach, Fla.; a sister, Tessie Legato of Oakland; six grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
