South River Cub Scout Pack No. 83 and Boy Scout Troop No. 83 will hold a Meet and Greet noon-2p.m. May 17 in Grekoski Park, off Whitehead Ave., South River. The event will take place rain or shine.
Youngsters are invited to attend, learn about Scouting and join in Scout traditions including the Rain Gutter Regatta. There will be a tent camping demonstration and a knot-tying demonstration.
Hot dogs and beverages will be available.
