Menlo Park Mall, Route 1 south and Parsonage Road in Edison, and 95.5 WPLJ-FM are inviting aspiring vocalists to audition for an opportunity to receive a single song recording agreement and a $1,000 Simon Visa gift card during this summer’s Simon & WPLJ Sing-to-Win contest.
The event will take place at Menlo Park Mall June 23, with registration at 4 p.m. and performances between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Auditions will be limited to the first 50 people who register, and singers should be prepared to sing one song a cappella with a maximum time limit of one minute. They should also have a second selection prepared if requested by a judge to perform another song.
The competition will be judged by a representative from Simon Property Group and top-name music industry representatives.
The judges will select three finalists who will then compete in the grand finale event at Rockaway Townsquare on July 14.
Participants must be between the ages of 16 and 26 and must present a valid form of identification in order to register for the contest.
