Brick Rotary installs officers, gives awards

On June 25, the Brick Morning Rotary held its Officers and Directors Installation Dinner at Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty in Point Pleasant. Betty Lou Cox was installed as president. Also installed were: Gene-Ann Pesano, presidentelect; Diane Kozlowski, treasurer; Christine Caggiano, secretary; and Carl LaGrotteria, sergeant at arms. Installed as directors were Lorraine Griffith, Barbara Kochie, Rich Lau, Ed Maiorine, Howard Schwartz, Sallie Stutzman and Vicki Tyrrell.

Diane Kozlowski and Christine Caggiano were presented with Paul Harris Fellows from the club in recognition of their exemplification of the Rotary objective to foster the ideal of service as the basis of worthy enterprise in personal, business and community life.

Barbara Kochie received the Rotarian of the Year Award for her volunteer work on club projects.
