Nominations welcome for AHS Hall of Fame

(Letter to the Allentown High School community, parents, alumni and friends)

This marks our second year since the induction of our first Hall of Fame class for lifetime achievement, cultural and civic contributions and academic excellence. This past year, we inducted the director of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., an opera singer for the Metropolitan Opera, a New Jersey Supreme Court justice and a former teacher and town historian. This year, candidates may also be nominated posthumously, and every effort will be made to select individuals from various fields of interest.

Nominations are now being accepted until Aug. 31.

The next class will be inducted on Nov. 3. Please see the guidelines, nominee and nominator forms. These can be faxed to me at 609- 259-0390 or emailed at [email protected]. Any questions can be directed to 609-259-2160, ext. 400. Feel free to stop by and visit our school and see our Hall of Fame wall located just outside of the main office atrium area.

Thank you for your interest in Allentown High School, a dynamic learning community.
