St. George’s Church, 56 Main St., Helmetta, will host its annual blood drive Aug. 22. St. In addition, Saint Peter’s University Hospital mobile health van will be on premises from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to provide health information, blood pressure checks, blood sugar analysis and body mass index measurements. The Youth Ministry will provide a free car wash for all attendees. This year, the blood donation age has been lowered to 16, with a parent’s permission.
