Mr. Johnson, 82, of Jackson, formerly of East Brunswick and Old Bridge, died Oct. 2, 2009, at home. He was the owner of B & D Metal Fabricators and B & D Liquid Bulk, Old Bridge, for 44 years, retiring in 1993. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris, in 2004. Surviving are a son, Gregory Johnson, and his wife, Barbara, of Old Bridge; a daughter, Corinne Johnson, and her husband, Thomas Cannon, of Jackson; a sister, Betty Smith of Indiana; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A chapel service was held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Arnytown section of North Hanover. Memorial contributions may be made to the local animal charity of one’s choice. Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
