Odessa Klezmer Band to perform at library

The Odessa Klezmer Band, led by Ed Goldberg, will perform at the Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, at 7 p.m. Dec. 16. The band has been touring the tri-state area for more than 25 years. Klezmer music was brought over to the United States by 19th-century Eastern European Jewish immigrants. It is an instrumental upbeat style of music featuring a wide array of instruments including a clarinet, accordion and darbuqua drum.
