MEET OUR PROFESSIONAL ACTORS/INSTRUCTORS WHO ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON BROADWAY (Ragtime, Phantom, NAT’L TOUR, XANADU), FILM, TELEVISION AND REGIONAL THEATRE WHO WILL BE TEACHING ACTING TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN RANDOLPH NJ. ENJOY REFRESHMENTS.
Professional actress, Rosalie Tenseth, married a man in Randolph, NJ and isopening The Acting Academy…come work and play with professionals as a training center to learn the craft and business of acting at an affordable price.  All instructors are working professionals who have a desire to share their collective knowledge with both children and adults. No previous training and or experience necessary to take classes, just a desire to learn. 
Starting January 2010, classes offered in: Improvisation, Auditioning for Musical Theatre, Commercials Workshop and Theatre Audition Technique. Private coaching is also available in audition preparation/monologues, musical theatre vocal coaching and public speaking.  
Introductory workshops in Improvisation have already been taught at Randolph Middle School, West Morris Mendham High, Madison High and Assumption School in Morristown. Our next workshop is at Randolph Senior High on January 6, 2010.

Jeremy Stolle  On Broadway: currently Phantom. Off-Broadway/Regional: A Tale of Two Cities, A Room With A View, Zuleika, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Beauty and the Beast, Camelot, Carousel, Scarlet Pimpernel, Jekyll and Hyde, Brigadoon, Desert Song, and Pirates of Penzance. Concerts: Park Ave Productions (Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber), Metropolitan Opera (War and Peace), Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (A Yule Tide Celebration), Golden West Symphony (Shubert Mass in G, Hayden Lord Nelson Mass, Mozart Solemn Vespers) to name a few. Film: Ozzy the Movie. TV: As the World Turns, Guiding Light, All My Children, Rescue Me.   Jeremy teaches voice privately, taught music in public schools in CA, musical theatre classes at A Class Act in NYC, Cape Fear Regional Theatre and in Modesto, CA.
Mike McGowan  On Broadway: currently Ragtime (revival), Grease (revival), The Apple Tree (revival) and The Producers. Off-Broadway: Grey Gardens, Macbeth, The Merry Widow, Fallen Angel and The Body Beautiful. Regionally: Paper Mill (Kiss Me Kate, Master Class), Sacramento Music Circus (Jekyll & Hyde), Engeman (Wonderful Life), Stages St. Louis (A Little Night Music), Bay Street (The Who’s Tommy). In concert: with the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center and London’s Coliseum. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Bernstein’s Mass at Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Mr. McGowan also served as Ringmaster for Ringling Brothers, Barnum, and Bailey’s Greatest Show on Earth. Film: The Producers: The Movie Musical. TV: Cartoon Network’s Delocated, PBS’s Electric Company, and HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.  As a teacher, Mike has coached for two years at Connecticut’s CenterStage, and as a guest artist at the University of Sioux Falls.  
Eva Kaminsky– National Tour: The Syringa Tree, directed by Larry Moss. Off Bway:The Play Company (Made in Poland), Partial Comfort (Nami’), Broken Watch (Never Tell, The Safety Net), Blue Heron (The London Cuckolds). Regional: The Syringa Tree at The Long Wharf and ACT Theatre, Syracuse Stage (The Real Thing), Hartford TheaterWorks (Speech & Debate), Cincinnati Playhouse (A Christmas Carol, 1:23 – Acclaim Award, Best Supporting Actress), Cleveland Play House (Laughter on the 23rd Fl., A Small Family Business), Delaware Theatre Company (The Glass Menagerie), Charlotte Repertory Theatre (Communicating Doors), Northern Stage (Collected Stories), as well as work at Queens Theatre in the Park, New Repertory Theatre, Florida Stage and many others. Film: Upcoming The Adjustment Bureau (with Matt Damon), Just Like the Son (Tribeca ’06), Tie a Yellow Ribbon. Frank the Rat. TV: “Ugly Betty”, “Gossip Girl”, “As the World Turns”, “ER”, “Numb3rs”, all three “Law & Order” series, and “Johnny Zero”.  As a teaching artist, Eva has worked with Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (Michigan), The Think Theatre Project (Provincetown, MA), The Adirondack Theatre Festival, and spent a season as a mentor for The Young Storytellers Foundation in Los Angeles. She also coaches for auditions privately in New York City.
 
Ashlee Fife  On Broadway: Follies with Encores City Center and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Off Broadway: Radio City Rockette for 7 years in Christmas Spectacular, The Day Before Spring, The Merry Widow (w/Placido Domingo), Walking with Satie, Rocky Horror in Concert. Nat’l Tours: Some Like it Hot, Scarlet Pimpernel. Regional: Houston Theatre Under the Stars (It’s a Wonderful Life, Funny Girl), Arena Stage (She Loves Me), The Mountain Playhouse (42nd Street), The Fireside (Annie), Peninsula Civic Light Opera (The Pajama Game, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Am Musical Theatre of San Jose (A Chorus Line), The Barn Theatre (Crazy for You, La Cage Aux Folles). Ashlee teaches in NYC with the National Dance Institute, has taught with Broadway Dance Center, The Rockette Experience at Radio City Musical Hall, Stepps on Broadway-Teen Program, and master classes all over the tri-state area.
Dori Legg  Currently rehearsing: Barefoot in the Park at Two Rivers Theatre. Off-Broadway in Shaving The Pickle at Origin Theatre.Regionally: Arena Stage (The Women), Humana Festival (This Beautiful City), Folger Shakespeare Theatre (Macbeth, Twelfth Night, Melissa Arctic, Great Expectations), Woolly Mammoth Theatre (Recent Tragic Events), Delaware Theatre Co (The Diary of Anne Frank), Round House Theatre (Escape From Happiness, Season’s Greetings), Studio Theatre (Durang, Durang), Ford’s Theatre (A Christmas Carol), Fulton Opera House (Glorious, Prides Crossing, Enchanted April, Brighton Beach Memoirs).
