Mr. Mastasio, 85, of Eatontown, died Dec. 1, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, following a battle with myasthenia gravis. He was a professional service representative at Wyeth, Pfizer and Dow Medical, for 38 years. Mr. Mastasio is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean; a son, John F. Mastasio of Livonia, N.Y.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Carole Mastasio Bauer and Douglas of Toms River, Susan Mastasio Smith and Kenneth of Brick, Ann Mastasio McTigue and Robert of Toms River, and Gina Mastasio Bucci and Robert of Medford; 17 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. Interment followed at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
