Mr. McCue, 49, of Long Branch, died Dec. 23, 2009, at home. He resided in Fair Haven prior to relocating to Long Branch in 2004. Mr. McCue was employed by the Borough of Fair Haven Department of Public Works for several years. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Ellen G. McCue, in 2005; and a sister, Mary Ellen Schulz, in 1997. Surviving are a son, Michael J. McCue of Fair Haven; a daughter, Meghan E. McCue of Fair Haven; his father, John M. McCue of Long Branch; four brothers, Martin and Paul McCue of Long Branch, Charles McCue of Portland, Ore., and Mark McCue of Oceanport; three sisters, Elizabeth Savage of Branchburg, Claire McCue of Atlantic Highlands, and Eileen Haxby of York, England; his former wife, Kate McCue of Fair Haven; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment followed at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. Arrangements were by Woolley Funeral Home, Long Branch.
