Patrick E. Nulle

Mr. Nulle, 63, of Red Bank, died Dec. 25, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He had resided in Brick Township and Toms River before relocating to Red Bank in 1994. He coowned and operated Surf Burger, Red Bank, and was the prior owner and operator for 15 years of The Downtown Café, Red Bank. He was the mayor of Barnegat in the early 1970s, and the former owner and operator of Barnegat Builders. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Nulle. He is survived by his wife, Alexis Nulle; a son, Patrick N. Nulle, at home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole and Michael Tully of Red Bank, and Danielle and Jon Sykes of Atlantic Highlands; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Patricia Nulle of Pine Beach, Ronald and Kathy Nulle of Barnegat, and Timothy and Janice Nulle of Whiting; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ellen Nulle of Whiting, and Debbie and Dale Miller of Michigan; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment followed at Bayview Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown. Arrangements were by the John E.
