Eight H1N1 clinics slated in Middlesex County

The Middlesex County Public Health Department will sponsor H1N1 vaccination clinics during the next four weeks. Free injectable and nasal vaccinations will be available for persons age 6 months and older. Clinics will be held during January and the beginning of February in East Brunswick, Edison, Monroe and Sayreville. Clinic dates, times and locations are subject to change, and venues may be added to the schedule.

It is important for children younger than age 10 to receive their second dose of H1N1 vaccine. Residents may have children vaccinated at one of the upcoming clinics. A second dose cannot be given until at least 28 days has passed from the administration of the first dose.

Clinic participants are strongly encouraged to visit the website to download, print and fill out the required consent form prior to attending. Filling out forms in advance reduces waiting times.
