Mrs. Butcher, 85, of East Brunswick, died Jan. 12, 2010, in New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park, Edison. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter R. Butcher; a daughter, Mary Ellen Gallo; and a brother and two sisters. Surviving are four sons, Richard, and his wife, Ellen, of Jamesburg, Michael, and his wife, Mary, of Jerome, Ariz., James, and his wife, Lori, of Lakeside, Calif., and Gary, and his wife, Linda, of Monroe; four daughters, Deborah Simanek, and her husband, Bob, of the Imlaystown section of Upper Freehold, Lorraine Reimbold, and her husband, Bruce of Roosevelt, Jean Butcher, and her husband, Michael Urbanski, of Princeton and Carol Ann Kurek, and her husband, Art, of Ocean County; a son-in-law, Dominic Gallo of Ocean County; a sister, Mary Talty of Fort Myers, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A service was held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
