The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners’ Women’s Business Center will offer a three-hour seminar titled “Human Resources — Setting Up and Managing.” The free class is open to men and women and will be held at the Lakewood municipal building, 231 Third St., Lakewood, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 4. The workshop will cover some hiring tips, including interviewing tools and legal aspects of running a business. Avinash Gupta, M.D., a nuclear cardiologist in Lakewood, has been granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL). The laboratory is one of a growing number of nuclear cardiology laboratories in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to be so recognized for its commitment to high-quality patient care and its provision of quality diagnostic testing. Participation in the accreditation process is voluntary. Accreditation status signifies that the facility has been reviewed by an independent agency that recognizes the laboratory’s commitment to quality testing for the diagnosis of heart disease.

The Howell Chamber of Commerce general membership lunch meeting will be held at noon March 3 at Lomurro, Davison, Eastman and Munoz, P.A., Freehold Township. Attorney Robert Munoz will give a presentation about taxes. Lunch will be served during the presentation, with networking opportunities before and after. The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce recently announced the installation of officers and the board of directors at its annual holiday party, held at The Mansion at Georgian Court University, Lakewood. Jim Farrell of Single Throw presided at the installation of officers and board of directors.
