Mr. Benedetto, 83, of The Orchards at Bartley, Jackson, died Feb. 23, 2010. He was born in Cairo, N.Y., and moved to Brooklyn, N.Y., with his mother and brothers before enlisting in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Benedetto was a jewelry business executive for over 40 years. Surviving are his daughters, Sandra, Sherry and Sharon, and their partners, Betsi Gertz, Ron Pagut and Jess Thompson; stepchildren Alvin, Edwin, Eduardo and Arlene; a brother, James Benedetto; seven grandsons, and many family members and friends. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
