Mr. Shainberg, 88, of Howell, formerly of Freehold Township, died March 13, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Shainberg was a public accountant and served as treasurer of the Surrey Downs Men’s Club in Howell. He was predeceased by a son, Stuart Shainberg. Surviving are his wife, Esther Shainberg; a son, Andrew Shainberg; and a brother, Benjamin Shainberg. Interment was at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund or the Holocaust Museum.
