Mrs. Ramiz, 82, of Jackson, died Aug. 27, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Cyprus and had resided in Marlboro before moving to Jackson Township three years ago. Prior to her 1996 retirement, Mrs. Ramiz worked as a seamstress in New York City. She was predeceased by a brother, Fouat Ramiz; and a sister, Unfuvan Atasoy. Surviving are a sister, Ayshe Youssouf; a sister in-law, Netidje Ramiz; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at East Windsor Cemetery, East Windsor.
