 Actress Michele LaRue will perform a comedic satire about women’s suffrage at 7 p.m. March 21 at the Plumsted library, New Egypt. In her role as fictional character Marie Jenney Howe, LaRue portrays a charming, guileless enthusiast who sincerely believes that her efforts as a “womanly woman” will keep the home intact and save the nation from anarchy.
