Free friendly visits and/or telephone calls are provided to homebound residents of Ocean County who are alone and over the age of 60 by Community Services of Ocean County, Lakewood. Anyone who would like to receive company or volunteer to offer companionship to others can call Sally Herrmann, coordinator for the friendly visitor/telephone reassurance program, at 732-367-1400, ext. 280.
