Mr. Piro, 74, of Manalapan, died Aug. 6, 2011, at home. He was a tool-and-die maker for Grefco, Jamesburg. Prior to that, he worked for Triangle Conduit & Cable. Mr. Piro was predeceased by a granddaughter, Avery Owenburg, in 2006. Surviving are his wife, Ellen; a son, Stephen Piro, of Manalapan; three daughters, Dianne Ryan, and her husband, John, of Brick, Christine Rouskas and her husband, Christopher, of Burlington, Conn., and Jennifer Owenburg and her husband, Cory, of Howell; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Gloria Rimali, of Florida. AfuneralMass will be offered at 10 a.m. Aug. 11 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, is in charge of arrangements.
