HOWELL — The annual Howell holiday giveaway is looking for a few good “elves” to help collect toys and gifts for less fortunate families in the community.
Howell’s Little Elves effort is part of the Toys to Share Joy collection, which is led by local volunteers and sanctioned by township officials.
The “elves,” who must be 10 years old or older to participate, are asked to hand out a flier in their neighborhood. The flier seeks donations of new, unwrapped toys. The flier should be handed out by Nov. 29.
Volunteers and their parents will pick up the toys at the donor’s home on Dec. 3 or Dec. 4.
Fliers can be picked up atAffiliated Foot and Ankle Center, 4645 Route 9 north, Howell. Gifts, once collected, can be dropped off at the medical office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or between 9 and 11 a.m. Saturday. All gifts must be dropped off by Dec. 8.
