On Nov. 15, members of the Jackson Memorial High School Junior Air Force ROTC unveiled the Hall of Honor, which honors the accomplishments of the school’s alumni who have served and are serving in the military. An article in the Nov. 23 Tri-Town News listed the names of those honored in the hall, but due to missing information originally provided by the Jackson School District, one name was omitted in that list. Andrew Laffey, a member of the U.S. Army, graduated from JMHS in 1999. Since his deployment in Iraq, Laffey has been awarded the Bronze Star. His portrait is displayed in the Hall of Honor.
