Although public schools were closed in honor of Presidents Day, Feb. 20 was a day of learning for Tiger Cubs in Boy Scout Pack 104, Den 2 of Jackson. As a means of achieving their elective beads, the Tiger Cubs visited Cici’s Pizza in Howell to see how food is baked and to take a tour of the kitchen. The boys viewed the refrigeration and dishwashing area and learned how pizza and desserts are prepared. After the tour, the boys and their families enjoyed a hearty lunch of the creations they watched transform from dough to pizza.
