Three Quarter Midgets return to Wall Stadium

The stars and cars of the touring open cockpit Three Quarter Midgets will be in the spotlight at Wall Stadium Speedway on June 16 as they join the speedway’s stock car classes for a six-division racing program.

TheAmerican Three Quarter Midget Racing Association will be making its second appearance of the 2012 season on June 16.

Ryan Tidman, the winner of the first Wall Stadium event earlier this season, and recent winner Jeff Kot will lead the field into action.

Standouts Robin Johnston, Alison Cumens andMatt Roselli are just a few of the other Three Quarter Midget racers expected to be in the field.

The open wheel Modifieds will also be on the card in a 40-lap main event, while the Sportsman cars will compete in a 30-lap feature and the Legend Cars, Factory Stocks and Street Stocks will each race in a 25-lapper. Wall Stadium’s pit gates will open at 2 p.m. and the regular practice will be up at 3:30 p.m.

Grandstand seating will open at 5 p.m. and the first qualifying event will take the green flag at 6 p.m. Feature racing will follow.

June 16 will also mark the third event in the track’s “Kids’ Big Wheel” races. Children are asked to bring their favorite “Big Wheel”-style bikes and parents are encouraged to call the speedway office for more information
