Mr. McClelland, 65, of Freehold, died May 20, 2012, at home. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. McClelland was a driver’s education instructor for many years. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Diane; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Jen, of Newburgh, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Christopher Lanza of Howell; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kenneth and Joelle of Toms River and John of East Windsor; a sister and brother-in-law, Priscilla and James Horning of Scotch Plains; and three grandchildren. A visitation and funeral service were held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
