Coldwell Banker Residental Brokerage hosts technology conference

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. welcomed approximately 2,000 real estate agents and staff to the 2013 Starts Now real estate conference and expo held recently at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.

Coldwell Banker real estate agents from Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Union counties were among those who attended educational sessions and agent panels designed to review the latest technology tools and resources to market and build their business, enhance their skills, and provide expanded client services in today’s online and technology driven marketplace. They learned how to better utilize video techniques to better showcase client properties, social media for connecting with their clients, and mobile apps that help agents present, connect with others, and manage their business.

Additionally, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm, raised more than $17,000 for charitable causes at the event through donations and a Tricky Tray raffle featuring gift baskets designed by each of the company’s 58 offices. Five iPads were also included in the raffle.

Along with guest speaker Matthew Ferrara, special presenters included Monmouth County Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associates Jayne Camlin (Middletown office), Justine Galdorise-Alfano (Holmdel) and Pauline Poyner (Rumson/Fair Haven). Additional expertise was provided through Coldwell Banker’s marketing, technology and education departments with speakers David Marine, Charlie Batilo, Jimmy Rose, Pat Ferrante and Cathy Livingstone.
