Mr. Maggio, of Howell, formerly of Freehold and Bayonne, died Sept. 24, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was employed as a longshoreman/forklift operator for the Army Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne. Mr. Maggio was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was predeceased by a brother, Phillip Maggio. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie M. Maggio; a son, Paul Maggio of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Ellen Graber and her husband, Wayne, of Freehold Township; two grandchildren; a sister, Ann Fico of Toms River; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
