Hurricane Sandy Advisory

 The Long Branch Office of Emergency Management (LBOEM) is advising that residents can stay informed about emergencies and disasters that are occurring in our area, and what the LBOEM is doing to help residents during adverse conditions. LBOEM uses a variety of public information tools to communicate emergency information and information regarding weather closings, early dismissals, delayed openings, possible evacuations, etc.

Both the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center are excellent sources of information regarding storm predictions and forecasts.
