Frank John Acquaviva

Mr. Acquaviva, 86, of Jackson, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. He was employed as a fireman in Hoboken for 11 years. Prior to retiring, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Jackson as a postal carrier for 28 years. Mr. Acquaviva was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by six brothers and a sister. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Audrey; two sons, Gary C. Acquaviva and his wife, Carol, of Howell, and Frank M. Acquaviva and his wife, Lori, of Brick Township; a daughter, Karen J. Acquaviva of Jackson; and two grandsons. A funeral liturgy was held at the Church of St. Veronica, Howell, followed by a private cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
