Maria DelPrete

Mrs. DelPrete, 82, of Howell, died Oct. 1, 2012, at home. She was born in Torre del Greco, Naples, Italy. She was employed as a seamstress for I.L.G.W.U. in Brooklyn, N.Y., until her retirement. Mrs. DelPrete was predeceased by her husband, Alessandro DelPrete; a grandson, Michael DelPrete; and a granddaughter, Justine Klubeck. Surviving are four daughters, Carmela Ventura and her husband, Larry, of Howell, Nancy Villa and her husband, Robert, of Howell, Joann Villa and her husband, Frank, of Old Bridge, and Roseann Klubeck and her husband, Irving, of Old Bridge; a son, Michael DelPrete of Howell; two brothers, Salvatore Giovine and his wife, Sonia, of Manalapan, and Raffaele Giovine and his wife, Rita, of Naples, Italy; a sister, Roseeta DeLeo and her husband, Angelo, of Naples, Italy; 16 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren. A funeral was held at the Church of St. Veronica, Howell, followed by entombment in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery & Mausoleum, Marlboro.
