Mr. Fitzpatrick, 86, of Jackson, died Oct. 9, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-47. Prior to retiring in 1990, he was employed as a printer for The New York Times for 47 years. Mr. Fitzpatrick was predeceased by his wife, Marion, in 1987; a brother, John; and two sisters, Dorothy DeMuro and Rita Soltes. Surviving are three daughters, Susan Fitzpatrick, and her companion, Allen Ferguson, Mary Bickerton and her husband, Tom, of Jackson, and Kathy Wunder, and her husband, Ernie, of Stillwater; a son, Charles, and his wife, Dorothy, of Dumont; his twin brother, Howard, and sisterin law, Elizabeth, of Montpelier Vt., and his brother, Brendan, and his wife, Jane, of Port Orange, Fla.; a sister, Elizabeth Benell, and her husband, George, of Hawley, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Critical Care Unit at CentraState Medical Center, 901 West Main St., Freehold Township, NJ 07728. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
