MILLSTONE: Schools reopening Nov. 12 for full day of classes

MLLSTONE — Schools Superintendent Scott Feder announced Sunday evening that power has been restored to all three of the district’s public schools, which will reopen for a full day of classes on Monday, Nov. 12.
The primary, elementary and middle schools will follow their normal start times and the cafeterias will be operational.
However, two schools do not yet have fully functioning communication systems due to damage from the storm. Parents are asked not to email the primary or elementary schools and to phone these schools only if it is absolutely necessary.
Parents who need to communicate with their child’s teacher at the primary or elementary school should send a note, instead of calling or emailing, Mr. Feder said. Parents will be notified when all repairs at these two schools are complete.
In the meantime, any calls made to the primary and middle school phone numbers are being routed to the middle school, where the communication system is fully operational. Mr. Feder said this process “will cause a delay in getting your message to the right person, but it will not inhibit us from communicating with you or you with us.”
