METUCHEN — To commemorate the annual World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life, established by Blessed John Paul II in 1997, the Diocese of Metuchen will host an evening prayer service on Feb. 3 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, 32 Elm Avenue, Metuchen.
Bishop Paul G. Bootkoski, principal celebrant of the liturgy, will join with members of the faith community to celebrate the gift of consecrated life and to honor men and women in the diocese who are celebrating significant milestones of their religious profession this year.
