 Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence will host a Casino Night fundraiser at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan. The cost of the event is $65 per person and includes $25 in “fun money” for gambling entertainment, as well as hors d’oeuvres, crudités, assorted cheeses, dessert and a cash bar. There will be a variety of casino games, including Texas Hold ’Em, roulette, blackjack and craps. In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle and an auction with prizes.  February Fun Storytime and Snack will be offered at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Plumsted Library, 119 Evergreen Road, New Egypt.  Equine veterinarian Dr. Laura Parisio of Colts Head Veterinary Services, Clarksburg, will present “Vaccinations in the Horse — What Every Horse Owner Needs to Know for Disease Prevention,” at the Feb. 14 meeting of the Pleasure Horse Club to be held at the Millstone Township Community Center, 463 Stagecoach Road, Clarksburg section of Millstone (between the Millstone firehouse and the Clarksburg Inn).
