 A free benefit concert/coffeehouse featuring local musicians will be held at 7 p.m. March 23 at Emley’s Hill United Methodist Church, 69 Emley’s Hill Road, Cream Ridge. Refreshments will be available. There will be a free-will offering, with all proceeds going to benefit the church, and a collection bin for nonperishable food items to be donated to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.  The Moms Club of Millstone will welcome the executive chef of the Barndoore, Richard Zukowski, and its owner, Morgan Tracey, to its April 11 monthly meeting. Zukowski will demonstrate some of his popular farm-to-table recipes and will give away samples of their signature spice and cupcakes.  Millstone Township will hold its seventh annual townwide stream cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon April 13. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot behind the municipal court building at 215 Millstone Road near Rocky Brook Park and the United Presbyterian Church. Free T-shirts and water will be provided. The Millstone Township Environmental Commission and the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association sponsor the cleanup. The event will count toward volunteer hours for students.  The Teal Tea Foundation will host its seventh annual Teal Tea from noon to 4 p.m. May 5 at John Henry’s Stone Terrace, Hamilton. This event will include a lunch, silent auction, contests, speakers and education awareness. The Teal Tea’s mission is to help raise ovarian cancer awareness and to support research efforts focused on early detection, treatments and a cure for ovarian cancer. All are invited.  Kind Heart Rescue, a sanctuary for homeless dogs and rabbits, is accepting donations of treats and new or gently used toys for bunnies and dogs.
