 The spring session of “Dancing by the Peddie Lake” with Candace Woodward- Clough, a four-week class offering instruction in swing, fox trot, waltz and Latin dancing, will be held at 112 Etra Road, Hightstown.  The Compassionate Friends, a bereavement support group for those who have lost children at any age, Mercer Chapter, will hold its monthly meeting June 3. The group typically meets on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Capital Health System of Hamilton, 1445 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton. The mission of the Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

 Robinson Elementary School, Hamilton, will hold its third annual flea market from 8 a.m. to noon June 1 on the school grounds (parking available on Gropp Avenue and Hempstead Road).  Construction Zone for LEGOS, for ages 5 and up, will be offered at 4:15 p.m. May 30 at the Allentown Library, Allentown. Children will build projects with LEGO bricks supplied by the library. Details: 609-259-7565.

 The Allentown Lions Club Memorial Day parade will be held rain or shine beginning at 10 a.m. May 27. Parade-goers are advised to arrive by 9:30 a.m. due to Main Street and High Street road closures. A memorial service will follow the parade on the Allentown grammar school grounds.

 The Millstone Township Open Space and Farmland Preservation Commission and the Millstone Township Agricultural Advisory Council will host the seventh annual clambake fundraiser on June 2 at Wagner Farm Park, Millstone Township. Limited tickets are available and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $35 per adult and $10 per child (children’s tickets do not include lobster.)
